Ingredients:
- 2 packs of refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 pound of sausage of choice, either mild or spicy, depending on your preference
- 8 ounces of cream cheese
- Pro Tip: During the holiday time, you can use turkey sausage! If you are serving for breakfast, use breakfast sausage. This recipe is highly adaptable!
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375℉.
2. Brown and drain sausage in a skillet. You can season meat with just a touch of salt and pepper if preferred. Then melt in cream cheese.
3. Place one crescent roll sheet on a greased baking sheet, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
4. Spread sausage mixture on the dough, then top with the second crescent roll sheet.
5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Slice into small squares and serve.
